The World Rope Skipping Confederation (WRSC) is an official world governing body of Rope Skipping/ Jump Rope, which is beyond dispute one amongst the truly global sport.
The main objectives of WRSC are:
- To be responsible for the worldwide promotion and development of the sport as a recreational and contesting one.
- To boost up the game at all levels, at all ages for both men and women. In other words, developing jump rope in society at large.
- To regulate, ameliorate and uphold the rules of the game.
- To promote and organise international team championships and competitions of WRSC.
- To respect and maintain the core values of authenticity, integrity and independence of rope Skipping as a sport.
- To foster unity within the rope skipping world and use the sport to promote solidarity by meeting all the above objectives without discrimination on grounds of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, age, sex or religion.
The WRSC have 3 continental organisations which work within their geographical areas to assist the development and co-ordination of Rope Skipping/Jump Rope as well as promoting the interest of the sport.
